Our Soldiers
Omer
Omer was injured in 2008 by friendly fire while serving in the Golani Unit. A bullet was fired at his leg, leaving him with one leg shorter than the other and severe back pain. Omer is in rehab and also suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Omer cannot use public transportation and needs some help to cover car expenses and fees relating to his injury recognition, The Foundation awarded Omer with $4,696 in early 2011. At that point Omer sent us a letter saying:
"You folks are amazing and I wish you all the best in the world."
