Dmitry
Dmitry is a 35 years old paratrooper reservist who was injured in his lungs, stomach, shoulder and leg. Dmitry was unable to return to being a massage therapist so he pursued a new profession by taking a Nutrition Science program at the Yehuda and Shomron University.
The Dror Foundation awarded Dmitry in 2009 with $5,350 to help him with his rent payments, school tuition for his six year old son and help cover ongoing post-traumatic stress treatments and an additional payment of $1,250 was awarded in 2011 for heating and other ongoing expenses. Total provided to date: $6,600
In December 27, 2009 Dmitry wrote: "From the depth of my heart, I want to thank you for your help. Today I am completely dependent of the Ministry of Defense. Unfortunately it’s not as good as it seems, but I don’t give up and continue with my life as best as I can. I want to thank to all people who gave money to me and my friends"
